Welcome to Our School!

The Highlands Preschool promotes active exploration, creative thinking, respect, and self-discovery.
​                     Located in Shoreline, WA, for ages 3-5 years.

Classes

We offer two distinct, age-appropriate classes:
The "Douglas Firs" Preschool class is geared toward children ages 3-4. The "Noble Firs" Pre-Kindergarten class is geared toward children ages   4-5. Each class is designed to meet the needs of the age group enrolled. Our safe, loving, and stimulating environment facilitates and encourages joyful learning through active hands-on experiences. 

Schedules

Both our Preschool class, and our Pre-Kindergarten class meet Monday through Friday from 9:00am to noon. There is an optional AfterCare program where students can bring their own lunches and stay an additional hour at school, with pickup at 1:00pm. ​

Admissions

A number of factors influence the decision to admit a student to The Highlands School. To be considered for admission, your child must be fully potty-trained and at least 3 years old before September 1st of their enrollment year. You do not have to be a Highlands resident to attend The Highlands Preschool. Schedule a tour of the school and meet with teachers to see if our school is a right fit for your child!
